Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Leopoldo (ranked 3372 p4p, 6636 weight class) and Hit Run (ranked 409 p4p, 639 weight class). Blake Leopoldo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blake Leopoldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hit Run!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leopoldo slips a jab and a cross from Run.
Run misses with a lunging right hand

and Leopoldo counters with a single leg into guard. Run didn't expect that.
Run is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Leopoldo dives into side control.

You can see the frustration on Run's face as Leopoldo controls the position.

Leopoldo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leopoldo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Leopoldo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Leopoldo works to advance to full mount. Run defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Leopoldo has hold of Run's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Run manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Run stops Leopoldo from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Run has left one of his arms exposed and Leopoldo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Run screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
