Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrea Cartino (ranked 6669 p4p, 3631 weight class) and Zigalow Lazarov (ranked 643 p4p, 435 weight class). Lazarov has chosen Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple as his entrance music. Zigalow Lazarov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazarov avoids the head kick by Cartino.
Lazarov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cartino.
Cartino tries to land a body kick
and Lazarov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cartino looking for a sweep. Not yet Cartino, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lazarov wants to control from the top but Cartino keeps moving.
Cartino is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lazarov takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Cartino definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Lazarov working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Cartino is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Lazarov has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Cartino taps out!

Zigalow Lazarov looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I want to make a really long, bad lizard joke...But I don't want to let it dragon.'.
