Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vargas Thompson (ranked 3852 p4p, 2857 weight class) and Nikita Zutis (ranked 394 p4p, 306 weight class). Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by Freddie King - Side Tracked. Nikita Zutis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Zutis has Thompson up against the cage in a clinch.

Thompson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zutis tries to sprawl but Thompson drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Thompson throws a strike but Zutis avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Thompson postures up in Zutis's guard and throws a big left but Zutis blocks it.
Thompson pushes down on Zutis's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Zutis lands a couple of sideways elbows.

Zutis is looking to improve his position.
Thompson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zutis's head.

Zutis forces Thompson back against the cage and clinches.
Thompson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Zutiss head.

Thompson lands a big right hand that drops Zutis! The killer instinct kicks in and Thompson finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Thompson!
