Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alphonso Biggio (ranked 5254 p4p, 4005 weight class) and Slomo Rosensteiner (ranked 391 p4p, 346 weight class). Biggio comes to the cage accompanied by Time to go down song. The key to victory for Alphonso Biggio has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alphonso Biggio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Slomo Rosensteiner!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biggio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rosensteiner, pushing him back against the cage.
Rosensteiner wants a takedown.
Biggio has a couple of punches blocked by Rosensteiner.
Biggio throws a punch but it's blocked by Rosensteiner.
Rosensteiner tries to pull guard but Biggio forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Rosensteiner is trying to drag Biggio to the mat but Biggio just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Alphonso Biggio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slomo Rosensteiner.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Biggio wants to get up but he can't break Rosensteiner's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close round but I would say that Alphonso Biggio will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Rosensteiner is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Biggio has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rosensteiner is looking to defend but Biggio has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rosensteiner! Biggio pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rosensteiner taps out and this one is all over!
