Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Zoid (ranked 1918 p4p, 7107 weight class) and Matt Dammon (ranked 213 p4p, 601 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Harold Zoid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Dammon!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoid smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've been told by Zoid's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dammon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zoid.
Dammon blocks a head kick by Zoid.
Dammon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zoid.
Harold Zoid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zoid misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Dammon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zoid won't be happy with that.

Zoid explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dammon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dammon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A punch lands to the side of Dammon 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Zoid cracks a nice hook into Dammon's ribs.
Nice body kick from Zoid.
Sloppy strikes from Zoid. Those never looked like landing.
Dammon feints the counter takedown.
Zoid looks to land a left hand but Dammon moved out of range nicely.

Zoid connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dammon avoids the head kick by Zoid.
Dammon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dammon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Zoid sizes up Dammon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Zoid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dammon was well out of range. Poor timing from Zoid.

Zoid drops Dammon with a nice combination! Zoid dives into Dammon's guard, looking to finish!

Dammon is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zoid decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dammon is still on wobbly legs! Can Zoid finish him?
Dammon is aggressively charging in as Zoid backs up avoiding any damage. Zoid tosses out a jab and Dammon runs right into it face first! Dammon is out cold! Zoid dropped down on all fours and is barking in Dammon's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Harold Zoid!
Harold Zoid decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
