Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baldimir Zsofka (ranked 5683 p4p, 5156 weight class) and Rio Rio (ranked 564 p4p, 534 weight class). Zsofka comes to the cage accompanied by Raid - MF DOOM . Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Zsofka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Zsofka punishes Rio's body with a nice straight punch.
Rio doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zsofka counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Rio Rio has been cut.
Rio doesn't manage to clinch there - Zsofka circles away.
Zsofka checks the leg kick nicely there.
Zsofka slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Zsofka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zsofka throws a body shot but no joy.
Rio moves away from the strike by Zsofka.
Rio darts in looking for a takedown but Zsofka gets double underhooks and turns Rio into the cage.
Baldimir Zsofka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rio Rio.
Zsofka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rio on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Zsofka swings for the body but Rio moves out of range.
Rio uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zsofka.
Rio wants to counter with a clinch but Zsofka pushes him away.
Rio shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A little feinted left hand from Zsofka on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Baldimir Zsofka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rio fails with a takedown attempt.
Zsofka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rio drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Zsofka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rio closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zsofka circles away.
Rio connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Zsofka's hands.
Nice straight punches there by Zsofka. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Zsofka.
Zsofka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Zsofka looks to score with a jab to the body but Rio is just out of range.
Rio looks for a takedown but Zsofka sprawls well.
Zsofka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rio was well out of range. Poor timing from Zsofka.
Rio with the counter takedown but Zsofka avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Zsofka counters with a head kick that drops Rio to the mat! Rio scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Rio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rio throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zsofka throws a hook but Rio avoids it easily.
Zsofka moves out of range of the body kick.
Zsofka lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A jab from Zsofka misses.
Rio shoots and misses
and Zsofka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Rio dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Zsofka throws a head kick that misses.
Zsofka lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rio with a lazy takedown attempt
and Zsofka counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Rio out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Zsofka is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
