PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Assuerio Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Slash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanderson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Michael Slash will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Slash!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slash tries to clinch but Sanderson moves out of range.
Sanderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Slash scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Sanderson gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slash is looking for a sweep.
Sanderson just content to control the position.
Sanderson is breathing heavily.

Sanderson stands up and beckons Slash to his feet.
Slash tries to clinch there but Sanderson circles away.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sanderson in particular looking to stall.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sanderson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Slash lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Slash has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sanderson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sanderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
