The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yukinobu avoids the body shot from Jun.
Yukinobu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jun counters with a slapping leg kick.
Yukinobu throws a nice inside leg kick.
Yukinobu attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Yukinobu misses with an uppercut. Jun saw that one coming.
Jun misses with the combination.
Yamaoka Yukinobu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jun. Yukinobu does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jun throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Jun fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yukinobu manages to avoid it.

Jun throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yukinobu staying out of range there.
Jun misses with a leg kick.
Jun's corner calls for a 1-2. Jun obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Jun. That snapped Yukinobu's head back.
Jun wants to land a leg kick but Yukinobu is out of range.

Jun dips to his left and cracks Yukinobu with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Yukinobu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jun napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jun gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Yukinobu is trying to work for a kimura but Jun is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jun tries to roll over but Yukinobu keeps him under control.

Jun wants to improve his position but Yukinobu is controlling well.

Jun is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Yukinobu takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Yukinobu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Yukinobu wants to take a breather but Jun is having none of it.
