The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaled scores with a takedown into Buijs's guard.
Buijs looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Buijs has momentary wrist control but Kaled slips an elbow through the middle.
Kaled stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buijs swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Buijs controls Kaled momentarily but Kaled frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaled with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Buijs tries to strike from the bottom.

Buijs is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kaled has his hands clasped together but Buijs extends and breaks Kaled's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Buijs.
