Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miller Salazar (ranked 4618 p4p, 4577 weight class) and Chozen Toguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar looks for a takedown but Toguchi sprawls well.
Toguchi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Salazar. Salazar obviously looking to wear him down.

Toguchi drives through with a takedown into guard.

Salazar pushes Toguchi off and gets back to his feet.
Salazar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Salazar shoots in looking for a takedown but Toguchi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salazar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Salazar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Toguchi on the ground.

Toguchi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Salazar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Toguchi is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Salazar will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Toguchi is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Salazar is trying to escape and Toguchi transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Salazar is forced to tap! Nice work there by Toguchi! Very nice indeed!
