Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bleeding Spanner (ranked 139 p4p, 661 weight class) and Yohan Francis (ranked 23 p4p, 81 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Spanner.
Francis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spanner.
Francis slips a straight right by Spanner.
Francis throws a lazy uppercut
and Spanner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Spanner moves out of range as Francis strikes.
Francis misses with a body shot.
Spanner throws a body shot but no joy.
Spanner sizes up Francis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Spanner on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Francis. Francis obviously looking to wear him down.
A big left from Francis misses.
Spanner tried to counter with a leg kick but Francis avoided it.
Francis throws an overhand right that lands on Spanner's shoulder, as Spanner tries to avoid the shot.
Francis misses with a looping right.
Francis slips a straight right by Spanner.
Spanner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Bleeding Spanner has been cut.
Spanner lands a lovely overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Francis tries to land a leg kick but Spanner saw it coming and moves away.
Francis looks to throw the jab but Spanner is out of range.

Francis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Spanner sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Francis throws an off balance right hand
and Spanner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spanner slips a straight right by Francis.
Francis misses the body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Spanner jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Francis throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Spanner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Francis blocks a jab.
Francis works the jab nicely.
Spanner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
and Spanner counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Francis! He's just covering up as Spanner starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bleeding Spanner!
A relieved looking Bleeding Spanner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Yohan Francis stepped up to the mic, saying 'One Day.'.
