Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Salvatore (ranked 227 p4p, 334 weight class) and Kron Diego (ranked 30 p4p, 40 weight class). Salvatore's entrance music is Reich mir die Hand. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Enzo Salvatore has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Enzo Salvatore seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salvatore bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Salvatore is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diego has escaped the position, nice work there.
Salvatore is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Diego will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Salvatore wants to control but Diego is keeping him busy.
Salvatore has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Salvatore thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diego is looking to regain half guard here but Salvatore keeps moving and retains side control.

Salvatore is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Diego is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Salvatore can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diego is looking to escape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Salvatore goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Diego is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Salvatore is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diego defends well.

Diego got a little sloppy there for a moment and Salvatore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diego has managed to get both his arms back between Salvatore's legs - danger averted.
