Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Baako The African (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casper Duelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duelly has chosen Its A Fight as his entrance music. Casper Duelly will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Baako The African! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Casper Duelly! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The African swings for the body but Duelly moves out of range.
The African closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Duelly tries to roll over but The African keeps him under control. Duelly is trying to control but can't.
The African frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Duelly tries to lock up and control but The African gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The African wants to finish this one by submission but Duelly is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from The African. Duelly is wriggling around trying to escape.
Duelly regains half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duelly is looking to control The African's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Duelly avoid being mounted? The African is working for a kimura but Duelly is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duelly is trying to get back to full guard. The African missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Duelly keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Duelly looking for submissions off his back. The African landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Duelly wants to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The African shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duelly looking for a guillotine here but The African defends easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The African thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The African postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Duelly is looking for a triangle here but The African uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Duelly struggling a bit here. Duelly takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Duelly tries to bench press The African off him but The African keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duelly manages to work his way to half guard, despite The African's best efforts. Duelly is defending against the submission attempts here by The African.
The African is breathing heavily. Duelly tries to roll over but The African keeps him under control. The African is working for a kimura but Duelly is defending it quite comfortably.
Duelly pushes The African off looking to stand but The African dives back in and keeps control.
The African thows a huge punch but Duelly dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Duelly looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Duelly has a hand on The African's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. The African takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! The African working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Duelly wants to hold on but The African pushes him away. The African raining down shots from the mount! Duelly in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The African has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Duelly tries to lock up and control but The African gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baako The African dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Duelly doesn't succeed with the takedown and The African counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Duelly! The African postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Duelly looks a forlorn figure.
The African lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Duelly tries to hold on but The African postures up. The African lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Duelly is trying to reverse the position but instead The African has taken his back - oops! Duelly fending off the submission attempt from The African. Duelly controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duelly tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The African jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Duelly manages to avoid the submission attempt. The African in side control lands a decent elbow. Duelly managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by The African.
The African throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Duelly sneaks out the side door and pushes The African away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Excellent takedown into side control there by Duelly. Duelly misses with the ground and pound. Duelly stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The African scores with a takedown into Duelly's guard. The African missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The African works a leg free and moves into half guard. The African sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Duelly defending well though. Duelly keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The African is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Duelly defends it well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A left and a right from Duelly both land. Nice combination. Casper Duelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duelly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The African might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Duelly landing punches. Duelly works his way to his opponent's back.
Duelly working for a choke but The African is defending well. The African rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Duelly wants to control but The African is keeping him busy.

Baako The African overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The African is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Duelly rolls with it to try and escape but The African cranks on the arm and Duelly is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
