Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colly Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner has chosen Cleveland Rocks as his entrance music. Colly Fairtex has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tanner trying to control the action but Fairtex is working from the bottom.
Fairtex takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Tanner misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Tanner tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fairtex is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tanner has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Fairtex suckers Tanner into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Fairtex is now in Tanner's guard!
Tanner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fairtex can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tanner tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fairtex throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tanner.
It looks like Shane Tanner has been cut.
Tanner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fairtex throws a head kick but Tanner moves out of range.
Colly Fairtex is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tanner closes the distance and clinches up with Fairtex, looking for a takedown. Tanner pushes Fairtex against the cage but Fairtex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tanner shoots for a takedown but Fairtex saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tanner sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tanner throws a strike there. Fairtex manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tanner has Fairtex pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fairtex manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Fairtex is fighting off a takedown attempt but Tanner is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fairtex to the mat. Fairtex regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
