Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Keone Kapisi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Kerr misses.

Kapisi moves into the clinch.
Kapisi comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut.
Kerr blocks an uppercut.
Kapisi misses with an elbow strike.
Kapisi has a couple of punches blocked by Kerr.
Kapisi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kerr.
A hook to the body from Kerr.
A right hand to the body from Kerr.
Kapisi is breathing heavily.
Kerr pushes Kapisi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kerr has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kerr misses with a body punch.

Kapisi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kapisi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kerr lands a glancing blow to the side of Kapisi's head.
Kapisi throws a big shot that misses.
Kerr looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Keone Kapisi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Kerr misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kerr takes one to the chin there.
Kerr changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kerr tests Kapisi's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Kerr steps into range and cracks Kapisi with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Kapisi flops backwards and Kerr dives into his guard looking to finish!

Kerr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kerr with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kerr works over Kapisi with some ground and pound from guard.
Kerr cracks Kapisi with a solid left hand.
Kapisi keeping full guard, as Kerr tries to pass.
Kapisi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kerr trying to control the position from guard on top but Kapisi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kerr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kerr advances to half guard.
Kapisi won't allow Kerr to pass to mount.
Kapisi looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kerr sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kapisi defending well though.
Kapisi is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LET Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Kerr stalling away here and it's allowed Kapisi to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kerr wants to control from the top but Kapisi keeps moving.
Kapisi wants to stand up but Kerr is controlling him.
Kerr is looking to work some ground and pound but Kapisi has wrist control.

Kerr postures up in Kapisi's guard and throws a big left but Kapisi blocks it.

Kapisi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kapisi tries a head kick but it misses.
It seemed like Kerr was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kerr misses with a looping right.
Kapisi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kerr lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kapisi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Kerr to counter with a crisp jab.
Kapisi throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Kerr counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Kapisi down! Kerr is looking to finish but Kapisi is intelligently defending himself.
Kerr arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kapisi's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mark Kerr!
Mark Kerr spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
