Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sunray Spike (ranked 93 p4p, 315 weight class) and Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 15 p4p, 47 weight class). Spike comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Kagonbo has chosen Voodoo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bismack Kagonbo!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kagonbo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A low kick lands for Spike.
Kagonbo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kagonbo misses with a looping right.
Kagonbo tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Spike.
It looks like Bismack Kagonbo has been cut.
Kagonbo throws a sloppy head kick
and Spike counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kagonbo misses with a lunging right hand
and Spike counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Spike walks into a jab.
Spike misses with a straight right.

Kagonbo lands a nice looking body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab from Kagonbo finds it's way through Spike's defenses.
Spike throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kagonbo counters with a nice uppercut.
Kagonbo sizes up Spike with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Spike blocks a head kick by Kagonbo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spike uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kagonbo.
Spike avoids the head kick by Kagonbo.
Bismack Kagonbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kagonbo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Spike looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kagonbo lands with an uppercut that bounces Spike off the cage and back into range.
Kagonbo throws a jab but it's blocked by Spike.
Spike lands a front kick.
Spike changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Spike scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kagonbo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Spike counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kagonbo! Spike lets Kagonbo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Kagonbo is rocked!
Kagonbo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spike circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Kagonbo tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Spike wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sunray Spike!
After the fight, Sunray Spike was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Bismack Kagonbo spoke after the fight, saying 'Breathes heavily....growls...'.
