Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ace Giannis Ignacio (ranked 2247 p4p, 2990 weight class) and Krisko Kurtev (ranked 291 p4p, 373 weight class). Ignacio's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, This is the Moment. Krisko Kurtev will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignacio throws a hook to the side of Kurtev's head but Kurtev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kurtev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ignacio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kurtev takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Kurtev moves into the clinch successfully.
Ignacio working aggressively here.
Ignacio lands a left hand.
Ignacio is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Kurtev has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ignacio is trying to keep an underhook but Kurtev manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Kurtev thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ignacio's head.
Ignacio wants to improve his position but Kurtev is controlling well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kurtev wants to pass the guard but Ignacio is defending well.
Kurtev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ignacio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ignacio is staying active underneath Kurtev, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kurtev lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Ignacio! More strikes land and this one is all over! Kurtev jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
