Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Delgado!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado circles away from the clinch attempt.
Delgado tries to counter by closing the distance.
Osuugi tries to clinch up but Delgado circles away and keeps his distance.
Osuugi is looking to clinch.
Delgado leaves Osuugi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Delgado gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Delgado lands a nice short elbow.
Delgado is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Delgado winds up and cracks Osuugi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Osuugi tries to roll over but Delgado keeps him under control.
Osuugi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Delgado on the ground.

Delgado slips a nice elbow through Osuugi's hands, connecting with Osuugi's forehead.

It looks like Ryuu Osuugi has been cut.
Delgado lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Delgado has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Delgado looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Delgado connects with a nice short shot to Osuugi's temple.
Delgado seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Delgado is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Delgado is looking to take a break and control but Osuugi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Delgado is nestled in close to Osuugi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Delgado seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Osuugi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Delgado seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A big strike lands for Delgado! That's really hurt Osuugi and he's turned his back - Delgado keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Delgado jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Delgado!
