The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLaren walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
McLaren tries for a takedown but Grandpa circles away easily

and Grandpa counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Grandpa.

Grandpa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McLaren misses with an uppercut.
Grandpa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
As McLaren tries to get set, Grandpa tries to push him back and clinch up but McLaren manages to avoid the attempt.
McLaren shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Grandpa counter with a right hand.

Grandpa closes the distance and clinches.

Grandpa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Grandpa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McLaren.
McLaren tries for a takedown but Grandpa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tiger Grandpa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kai McLaren.
A looping hook to the body misses from McLaren. Grandpa does a little dance to reset his feet.
McLaren throws a body shot but no joy.
Grandpa keeps the fight on the outside.
McLaren tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grandpa was well out of range. Poor timing from McLaren.
McLaren throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McLaren shoots in but Grandpa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Grandpa throws an absolute beast of a head kick! McLaren is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
