The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Writer throws a head kick but The Narcissist moves out of range.
Writer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The Narcissist is trying to stand.
Writer is controlling the pace.

Writer decides to stand back up. Writer steps back and let's The Narcissist get back to his feet.
Writer tries for a takedown but The Narcissist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Writer thows a body shot but no joy.
Writer tests The Narcissist's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The Narcissist doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Writer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for The Narcissist!

The Narcissist trying to get back to his feet but Writer is in full control for now.

The Narcissist is trapped and Writer is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Writer controls the action.
Writer has The Narcissist flattened out and is raining down punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Narcissist is taking damage to the body and head.
The Narcissist is trying to get back to his feet but Writer has full control of the position and if anything, The Narcissist has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Writer lands strikes to the head.
The Narcissist controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Writer is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Writer gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Writer gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Writer apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The Narcissist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Writer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Narcissist with a poor takedown
and Writer shoots in, scooping The Narcissist off his feet. Writer is holding his opponent over his shoulder. He slams The Narcissist to the mat and The Narcissist is in big trouble! Writer is landing strikes to his unconscious foe and the ref dives in to end the fight! Writer is celebrating with his corner and rightfully so.
