Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Bellicov (ranked 6379 p4p, 5347 weight class) and Minato Tokugawa (ranked 621 p4p, 557 weight class). Bellicov comes to the cage accompanied by Count Basie - April in Paris. Minato Tokugawa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Tokugawa!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokugawa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Bellicov wants to slow Tokugawa down by chopping away at his legs.

We've been hearing reports that Bellicov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bellicov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tokugawa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bellicov scrambles back to his feet.
Minato Tokugawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bellicov tries to break free but Tokugawa pushes him back against the cage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
