Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kentrell Turner (ranked 6798 p4p, 3306 weight class) and Gen Tenryu (ranked 654 p4p, 401 weight class). The key to victory for Kentrell Turner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kentrell Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gen Tenryu!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tenryu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Tenryu works Turner's body with a nice hook.
Turner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tenryu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tenryu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turner sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Tenryu moves into the clinch.

Turner breaks from the clinch.
Tenryu is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Turner.
Turner tries to bum rush Tenryu with a series of wild strikes but Tenryu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tenryu looks to land a left hand but Turner moved out of range nicely.
Turner throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tenryu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Turner moves into range and clinches up with Tenryu.
Turner looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tenryu lands a left hand that snaps the head of Turner backwards.
Tenryu throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Turners head.

Turner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Turner throws a right and a left that Tenryu avoids nicely.
Turner moves out of range of the strikes.
Turner tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tenryu manages to circle out of the way.
Tenryu loads up on a big right hand but Turner slips the punch.

Tenryu clinches up with Turner and pushes him back against the cage.
Turner wants to break free but Tenryu has control.
Tenryu is leaning against Turner and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Tenryu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Turner backwards.
Tenryu gets through Turner's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A frustrated look appears on Turner's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Tenryu.
Tenryu has Turner pressed against the cage, preventing Turner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Turner is breathing heavily.

Tenryu lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Tenryu has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Turner seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Tenryu can turn it around.
Tenryu lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Tenryu works on Turner's body with a couple of short punches.
A right hook to the body lands for Tenryu.
Tenryu creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Turner's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Turner drops to his knees and Tenryu pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
