Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neil Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Punchy!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz slips a jab from Punchy.
Diaz digs a good hook to Punchy's body.
Diaz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Punchy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Punchy misses with a right hand
and Diaz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Trent Punchy has been cut.
Diaz walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Punchy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Diaz swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Punchy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neil Diaz!
