Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Luc Picard (ranked 1886 p4p, 8810 weight class) and Haywood Badger (ranked 202 p4p, 636 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Haywood Badger!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badger throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Picard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Picard punishes Badger's body with a nice straight punch.
Badger throws a leg kick that is checked
and Picard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Picard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Picard scores with a hook to the body. Badger takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Badger looks winded!
Badger has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Picard.
Badger takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Badger takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Badger walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Picard feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Badger sprawling to the canvas! Badger rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Picard finish him?!
Picard lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jean Luc Picard!
