Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brick Shithouse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Butch Steel!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shithouse with the inside leg kick.
A low kick from Steel is predictable there
and Steel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shithouse throws a right and a left that both miss.
Steel moves out of range of the strikes.
Shithouse throws a shot from downtown. Steel moves away and avoids it.
A jab lands there for Shithouse.
Steel avoids a kick to the body.
Shithouse buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Steel lands with a hook. Shithouse tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Shithouse looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Shithouse has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Steel chopping away at his opponent's legs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steel connects with a looping right hand.
Steel loads up on a big right hand but Shithouse slips the punch.
A quick step to the side and Shithouse tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shithouse feints and then cracks Steel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steel down.
Shithouse looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Shithouse's jab looks to have found its range, popping Steel under the eye.
Decent striking displayed by Shithouse there.
Shithouse is looking to score with low kicks.
Shithouse throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Steel rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Steel throws the left hand but Shithouse avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Shithouse swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shithouse scores with a hook.
Steel misses with an attempted mid kick.
Steel missing with a left hand there. Shithouse was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Steel scores with a nice strike.
Nice shot lands for Steel.
Shithouse is rocked!
Steel lands an uppercut, right on the button! Shithouse tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Butch Steel!
Butch Steel decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
