Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Novoselic is on top in guard.

Smiff is trying to drag Novoselic to the mat but Novoselic just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Smiff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Novoselic walks away with a smile on his face. Smiff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Novoselic tries to lock up and control but Smiff gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Novoselic is controlling an arm, preventing Smiff from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Smiff swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Novoselic is now in Smiff's guard. A big mistake from Smiff there, giving up the dominant position!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
