Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Nolan (ranked 1094 p4p, 934 weight class) and Ashwin Tyson (ranked 122 p4p, 114 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ashwin Tyson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nolan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Tyson scores with a nice right hand.
Tyson throws an off balance right hand
and Nolan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tyson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nolan. Tyson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tyson throws a jab but it's blocked by Nolan. Nolan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Tyson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Nolan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nolan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tyson.
Nolan seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Tyson throws a nice inside leg kick. A telegraphed right hand from Tyson misses the target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tyson lands an overhand right. Nolan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tyson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Nolan to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Ashwin Tyson has been cut. Tyson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Nolan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nolan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Nolan misses with a hook. Tyson ducked under it nicely. Nolan lands a nice hook to Tyson's body. Tyson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Tyson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Tyson lands a jab. Nolan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tyson lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Nolan goes down and covers up as Tyson starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ashwin Tyson! Jumping up and down and very excited, Ashwin Tyson waved his t-shirt featuring Brooklyn Apothecary's logo in front of the cameras.
