Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manco Capac (ranked 1839 p4p, 2421 weight class) and Pedro Vela (ranked 247 p4p, 321 weight class). Capac kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Iggy Pop - The Passenger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manco Capac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Vela!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vela shoots and misses
letting Capac counter with a right hand.
Vela moves forwards but Capac connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Decent striking displayed by Capac there.
Capac scores with a jab to the head.
Vela tries for a takedown but Capac circles away easily
and Capac counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vela is rocked!
Vela fails with the takedown.
Manco Capac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Vela.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vela shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Capac cracks Vela with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Vela tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Capac pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Vela is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manco Capac!
During a confident post fight interview, Manco Capac thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
