Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bon Adrien De Moncey (ranked 20976 p4p, 3403 weight class) and Joe Smo (ranked 654 p4p, 414 weight class). Joe Smo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bon Adrien De Moncey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Smo! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Moncey tries for a takedown but Smo circles away easily and Smo moves into the clinch. Smo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Moncey drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. De Moncey working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Smo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, De Moncey asserts his dominance and retains side control. Smo is trying to control De Moncey's posture but De Moncey avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked De Moncey off and has taken his back! De Moncey is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Moncey tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Smo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. De Moncey is trying desperately to improve position. De Moncey blocking the ground and pound. De Moncey is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
De Moncey is working to get back to half guard.
De Moncey stops Smo from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. De Moncey is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Moncey tries to buck Smo off so he can stand up but Smo has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! De Moncey falls backwards, slamming Smo to the mat but Smo holds on tight! De Moncey is forced to tap and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Joe Smo! Joe Smo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
