The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lopez Jr rushes Yasutoki and presses him up against the cage.

Yasutoki turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Yasutoki manages to end up in side control.
Lopez Jr tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yasutoki wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Yasutoki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lopez Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
