Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steven Duong (ranked 2674 p4p, 5968 weight class) and Bjorn Cloudsen (ranked 343 p4p, 594 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steven Duong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bjorn Cloudsen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloudsen shoots and misses
and Duong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Bjorn Cloudsen has been cut.
Cloudsen tries for a takedown but Duong circles away easily
and Duong counters with a straight right hand.
Cloudsen with a poor takedown
letting Duong counter with a right hand.
Steven Duong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Cloudsen.
Cloudsen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Duong!
Cloudsen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cloudsen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cloudsen is trying to get an arm triangle but Duong is defending well.
Cloudsen throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cloudsen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Duong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Duong is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cloudsen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Duong has escaped the position, nice work there.
Duong is looking to regain half guard here but Cloudsen keeps moving and retains side control.
Duong can't do much from the bottom here.
Cloudsen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Duong looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cloudsen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Duong is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cloudsen lets go of the hold and Duong can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bjorn Cloudsen!
