Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tavaris Fulton (ranked 3387 p4p, 3169 weight class) and Matteo Sanchez (ranked 352 p4p, 330 weight class). Fulton comes to the cage accompanied by In My Projects. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez scores with a spinning back kick!
Fulton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sanchez throws out the jab.
Fulton cracks Sanchez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Matteo Sanchez has been cut.
Sanchez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fulton at a distance.
A head kick misses from Sanchez.
An attempted straight right counter from Fulton misses the target.
Sanchez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fulton to score with a decent uppercut.
Fulton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fulton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Fulton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sanchez is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Fulton gets to his feet and stands over Sanchez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Sanchez felt that one! Fulton unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Sanchez from any more punishment!
