The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mortis lands with a kick to the temple. Mason shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mortis looks for a takedown but Mason sprawls well.

Jay Mason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rigor Mortis.
Mortis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mason walks away with a smile on his face. Mortis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jay Mason is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mortis throws a sloppy head kick and Mason moves out of range easily.

Mortis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mason's head.

Mortis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mason to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mortis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mason pulls down on the head and he's put Mortis to sleep! This one is all over!
