Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taironas Vygantas (ranked 4342 p4p, 4413 weight class) and Mikko Tiili (ranked 494 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taironas Vygantas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Tiili!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiili takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Vygantas shoots and misses
and Tiili counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vygantas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vygantas shoots in for a takedown but Tiili shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taironas Vygantas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tiili swats away the attempt to clinch by Vygantas.
Vygantas gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vygantas tries a knee to the head but Tiili blocks it.
Vygantas slowing the pace effectively.
Vygantas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tiili feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tiili thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Vygantas is trying to control Tiili's posture but Tiili avoids it.
Tiili advances to full mount.
Tiili lands a big shot there that rocks Vygantas but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Vygantas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vygantas tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vygantas tries to hold on but Tiili pushes him away.
Tiili postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Vygantas badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Tiili around the waist but Tiili pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Tiili is the winner by TKO! Tiili jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikko Tiili!
