The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nouveau slips a jab from Walker.
Walker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nouveau.

Nouveau dives in and scores a takedown into Walker's guard.
Walker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nouveau seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nouveau distracts Walker with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Nouveau has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nouveau stands and throws Walker's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nouveau cracks Walker with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Nouveau creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Nouveau has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Nouveau gets a double leg takedown into Walker's guard.
Nouveau might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Walker is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nouveau connects with a decent elbow.
Walker wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
