Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stanley William !
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Netero swivels and escapes.
An attempted straight right counter from Netero misses the target.
Netero displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from William .
William shoots in and drives through. Netero sprawls well.
Netero swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Isaac Netero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stanley William .
William misses with a takedown attempt - Netero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Netero wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Netero leaves William with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
William tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Netero defends well and William ends up having to push Netero into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A little feinted left hand from Netero on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
William fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Netero avoids it really well and circles away.
Netero is looking to counter punch.

William fails with a takedown attempt.

William shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Netero as he avoids it easily.
William fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
William goes for a double leg but Netero avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Netero continues to drive forward.

William dives in and grabs Netero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Netero pushes down on William 's head and hops out.

William shoots in for a double leg but Netero sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
William looks winded!
William shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Netero sprawls well. Netero wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. William gets slowly back to his feet.

William shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Netero counters with a stiff right hand.
William shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Netero as he avoids it easily.
Netero swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
William shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Netero but Netero pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Netero was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
William shoots in for a takedown but Netero shows good takedown defense.

William darts in looking for a takedown but Netero gets double underhooks and turns William into the cage.
A little feinted left hand from Netero on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Stanley William seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
William gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Netero counters with a lovely straight right hand!
William shoots in looking for a takedown. Netero tries to sprawl out of it but William keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Netero manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

And that's the end of the fight!
Isaac Netero showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Netero has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
