Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrygo Paulista (ranked 2670 p4p, 5416 weight class) and Leonardo Nascimento (ranked 349 p4p, 554 weight class). Nascimento has chosen Jiu-Jitsu, Arte Suave Milenar. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Leonardo Nascimento enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rodrygo Paulista!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leonardo Nascimento!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Nascimento with that takedown attempt.
Nascimento takes the fight into the clinch.
Nascimento is trying to pull guard but Paulista has him pressed against the cage.

Nascimento drops back looking for a leg! Paulista is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Paulista manages to kick Nascimento off! Nascimento jumps back into Paulista's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Paulista enables Nascimento to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Paulista manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nascimento drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Nascimento as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Paulista screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Nascimento! Nice submission victory there!
