Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chief Tomahawk (ranked 3316 p4p, 3481 weight class) and Kirov Sturmovik (ranked 401 p4p, 422 weight class). Chief Tomahawk is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Tomahawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirov Sturmovik!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomahawk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sturmovik drops his shoulder and cracks Tomahawk with a huge uppercut! Tomahawk goes down! Can Sturmovik finish him?

Tomahawk is rocked!

It looks like Chief Tomahawk has been cut.
Tomahawk is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Oh Tomahawk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tomahawk is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sturmovik is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Tomahawk seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sturmovik has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tomahawk is proving hard to escape from.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sturmovik cracks Tomahawk with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sturmovik stuffs the takedown attempt from Tomahawk. Tomahawk gets slowly back to his feet.
Tomahawk takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Sturmovik gets caught napping as Tomahawk dives in and scores a takedown. Sturmovik manages to retain guard.
Tomahawk throws a strike but Sturmovik rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tomahawk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tomahawk on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Tomahawk moves in looking to clinch but Sturmovik pushes him off.
Tomahawk is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sturmovik sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sturmovik throws a series of punches but Tomahawk moves out of range.

Tomahawk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sturmovik was covering up waiting for the punch and Tomahawk finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Tomahawk throws an elbow that misses. Sturmovik uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tomahawk's guard. Nice move by Sturmovik!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Sturmovik tests Tomahawk's chin there with a solid looking shot.
No luck for Tomahawk with that takedown attempt.
Kirov Sturmovik seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tomahawk has a takedown stuffed.
Sturmovik keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tomahawk.
Sturmovik lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tomahawk circles away quickly and effectively.
Tomahawk shoots in for a double leg but Sturmovik sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Tomahawk. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sturmovik cracks Tomahawk with an uppercut from hell and Tomahawk crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Sturmovik's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sturmovik has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Blood and Iron Training. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Tomahawk is pulling down on Sturmovik's head. It's preventing any offense from Sturmovik, at least for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sturmovik stuffs the takedown.
Sturmovik rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tomahawk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sturmovik connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tomahawk. Tomahawk circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kirov Sturmovik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sturmovik waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Tomahawk. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Tomahawk to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Chief Tomahawk's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Tomahawk is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sturmovik regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Tomahawk.
Sturmovik is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tomahawk is controlling him.

Kirov Sturmovik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sturmovik bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Tomahawk! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Kirov Sturmovik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sturmovik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
