PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diyorbek Nurudinov (ranked 3375 p4p, 3377 weight class) and Pele Ronaldo (ranked 354 p4p, 355 weight class). Pele Ronaldo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurudinov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nurudinov wants it to stay on the feet.
It looked like Nurudinov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Ronaldo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Diyorbek Nurudinov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pele Ronaldo.
Ronaldo tries for a takedown but Nurudinov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Nurudinov has hold of one of Ronaldo's legs. Ronaldo is fighting the takedown attempt but Nurudinov gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Ronaldo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nurudinov defends it easily.

Nurudinov gets to his feet and stands over Ronaldo, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Ronaldo felt that one! Nurudinov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Ronaldo from any more punishment!
