Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trey Hardwick (ranked 4381 p4p, 4374 weight class) and Henry Hutchinson (ranked 505 p4p, 507 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutchinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Hardwick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hardwick has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hutchinson moves out of range as Hardwick strikes.
Hardwick throws out a leg kick but Hutchinson moves out of range and Hardwick only half commits.

That was a close second round but I would say that Trey Hardwick will probably get the nod.

Hutchinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hardwick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hutchinson pushes Hardwick off and scrambles back to his feet.

and Hutchinson counters with a head kick. That will keep Hardwick thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
