Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Ralph Dean (ranked 2157 p4p, 2294 weight class) and Vladimir Punchsky (ranked 82 p4p, 92 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, William Ralph Dean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladimir Punchsky! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punchsky throws a leg kick letting Dean counter with a right hand. Punchsky cracks a nice hook into Dean's ribs. A clash of legs there as Punchsky blocks the low kick. Dean misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dean throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Punchsky to counter with a crisp jab. Dean tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dean takes a swing at Punchsky's ribcage but misses. A telegraphed right hand from Punchsky misses the target. Punchsky lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dean scores with a jab to the jaw. Punchsky throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dean counters with a big head kick but Punchsky shrugs it off. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dean is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Punchsky throws a jab but it's blocked by Dean. Punchsky misses with a hook to the body
and Dean connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Punchsky misses the jab. It looked like Dean was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Punchsky looks to score with a jab to the body but Dean is just out of range. Dean blocks a jab. A quick step to the side and Dean tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Punchsky lands a jab-cross combination. Punchsky blocks a head kick by Dean.
Punchsky looks to throw the jab but Dean is out of range. Dean jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Punchsky throws a series of punches but Dean avoids them all with ease. Dean uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Punchsky. Dean connects with a good right hand that stumbles Punchsky. Punchsky circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dean throws a poor cross that misses
and Punchsky counters with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dean fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Dean pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Punchsky throws a counter combo. Punchsky uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dean. Punchsky slips under a jab from Dean. Dean scores with the left hand. Punchsky knows he should have avoided that one. Jab by Dean. Dean throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Punchsky.
Punchsky is rocked! BOOM! Dean lands a beautiful left hook that drops Punchsky. Punchsky tries to recover but Dean is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Punchsky lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
