Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patriootti Pate (ranked 762 p4p, 1667 weight class) and Manu Ahonen (ranked 19 p4p, 55 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patriootti Pate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manu Ahonen!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahonen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pate fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ahonen checks it well.
Ahonen tests Pate's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ahonen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ahonen throws a head kick that misses.
We've been informed that Ahonen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Pate wants to slow Ahonen down by chopping away at his legs.
Pate throws the left hand but Ahonen avoids the punch easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Patriootti Pate will probably get the nod.

Pate throws a chopping leg kick but Ahonen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ahonen takes a swing at Pate's ribcage but misses.

and Ahonen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ahonen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Pate swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ahonen.
Ahonen is rocked!
Pate cracks Ahonen with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

A very excited looking Patriootti Pate rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
