Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 24 - 1, fighting out of London, Mateusz Biernat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Telushikin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biernat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Biernat wants it to stay on the feet.

Telushikin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Biernat is trying to defend but Telushikin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Biernat tries to kick Telushikin off but Telushikin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Telushikin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Biernat is just riding it out for now. Telushikin eventually gives up the hold.

Telushikin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Biernat defends it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Telushikin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Telushikin working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Biernat turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Telushikin off and cradles Biernat's limp body as Telushikin celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Joseph Telushikin!
