Cup is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Finnegan knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Finnegan for a finish.
Finnegan rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

and Finnegan counters with a straight right hand.

Cup doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Finnegan. That snapped Cup's head back.
Cup connects with a good right hand that stumbles Finnegan. Finnegan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nice defenses there by Cup.
Cup looks to land a left hand but Finnegan moved out of range nicely.
Finnegan avoids the body shot from Cup.
Finnegan takes a swing at Cup's ribcage but misses.
Cup misses with an uppercut
and Finnegan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cup scores with a punch to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Finnegan dips to his left and cracks Cup with an uppercut!

Cup is rocked!

Finnegan sends Cup crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Finnegan is motioning to the referee to let Cup up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Cup is still on wobbly legs! Can Finnegan finish him?
Finnegan closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Cup out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
