Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Finnegan (ranked 3649 p4p, 3514 weight class) and Red Cup (ranked 452 p4p, 433 weight class). Finnegan comes to the cage accompanied by The Rogues - Gravel Walk. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Finnegan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Red Cup! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cup has Finnegan up against the cage in a clinch.
Cup lands a takedown into guard.
Cup wants to control from the top but Finnegan keeps moving. Finnegan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Finnegan controlling Cup's posture. Finnegan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cup is one step ahead there. Cup is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Cup stopping the sweep attempt from Finnegan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cup pushing down on Finnegan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Finnegan trying to control from the bottom.
Cup trying to control the pace. Finnegan looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cup prevents Finnegan from improving his position. Cup wants to free his trapped foot but Finnegan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Finnegan is trying to maintain the position but Cup is very close to passing his half guard. Finnegan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Finnegan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cup works his way into side control. Finnegan is not content to let Cup control the position. Finnegan stops Cup from passing to mount. Cup trying to control the action but Finnegan is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cup tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Finnegan is not content to let Cup control the position. Cup working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cup slows the pace down. Finnegan can't do much from the bottom here. Cup advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Finnegan wants to control but Cup is having none of it. Cup controlling from mount. Finnegan really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Finnegan tries to lock up and control but Cup gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Finnegan is in all sorts of trouble here.
Cup controlling from the full mount. Finnegan tries to hold on but Cup pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cup wants to control the pace but Finnegan is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cup controlling from the full mount. Finnegan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Finnegan is working hard here to advance position. Cup fails to move to back control. Cup controlling the pace for now. Cup works his way to his opponent's back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cup is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Finnegan knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Finnegan for a finish. Finnegan rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Red Cup dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Cup rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Finnegan counters with a straight right hand. Cup misses with a looping left. Cup misses with an uppercut
and Finnegan counters with a nice uppercut. Cup doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nice uppercut lands for Finnegan. That snapped Cup's head back.
Cup connects with a good right hand that stumbles Finnegan. Finnegan circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nice defenses there by Cup. Cup looks to land a left hand but Finnegan moved out of range nicely. Finnegan avoids the body shot from Cup.
Finnegan takes a swing at Cup's ribcage but misses. Cup misses with an uppercut
and Finnegan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cup scores with a punch to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Finnegan dips to his left and cracks Cup with an uppercut!
Cup is rocked! Finnegan sends Cup crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Finnegan is motioning to the referee to let Cup up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Cup is still on wobbly legs! Can Finnegan finish him? Finnegan closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Cup out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roy Finnegan! After winning the bout, Roy Finnegan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. In defeat, Red Cup stepped up to the mic, saying 'That wasn't fun.'.
