Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wulf Himmelberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slayed. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Himmelberger closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Shamrock is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Himmelberger gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shamrock.
Shamrock is trying to drag Himmelberger to the mat but Himmelberger just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Shamrock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shamrock misses with some punches.
Shamrock tries for a takedown but Himmelberger manages to get underhooks.
Himmelberger keeps control of Shamrock as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Himmelberger breaks the clinch.
Himmelberger scores with a kick to the midsection. Shamrock is breathing heavily. Shamrock shoots in looking for a takedown. Himmelberger tries to sprawl out of it but Shamrock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Himmelberger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Himmelberger drops Shamrock with a right and a left! Himmelberger comes rushing in but Shamrock regains his composure and manages to keep Himmelberger in guard.
Shamrock is rocked!
It looks like Blake Shamrock has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Himmelberger wanted to stand there but Shamrock had control of the position. Himmelberger stands up from guard. Let's bang! Himmelberger cracks the inside of Shamrock's front leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Himmelberger explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Himmelberger sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Shamrock to the ground! Himmelberger dives into full mount looking to finish! Oh Shamrock is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Himmelberger trying to control but Shamrock is having none of it. Shamrock seems to have got his legs back now. Himmelberger get's back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Himmelberger scores with a kick to the midsection. Horrible takedown by Shamrock or perhaps it was just good defense by Himmelberger which made him look bad. Himmelberger cracks Shamrock with a good jab. Himmelberger throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Himmelberger has managed to clinch.
Shamrock tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Himmelberger has had enough of the clinch but Shamrock keeps him there for the moment. Shamrock can't get the takedown.
Himmelberger lands a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Himmelberger with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Shamrock wants a takedown.
Himmelberger wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Shamrock managing to block the knees to the body from Himmelberger.
Himmelberger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shamrock shoots in but Himmelberger avoids the takedown attempt easily. Himmelberger throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Himmelberger throws a series of punches but Shamrock avoids them all with ease. A solid leg kick lands there for Himmelberger.
Himmelberger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shamrock circles away quickly and effectively. Shamrock will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Himmelberger lands a head kick!
Shamrock takes a kick to the side of the head. Some wild striking there from Himmelberger.
Himmelberger stuffs the takedown. Himmelberger misses with a two punch combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock shoots in but Himmelberger avoids the takedown attempt easily. Himmelberger has taken the fight to the clinch.
Himmelberger throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Himmelberger wants to break free but Shamrock has control.
Shamrock jumps guard.
Himmelberger stands up from Shamrock's guard - Himmelberger perhaps looking for a knockout. Shamrock gets the takedown into side control. Shamrock is looking to take a break and control but Himmelberger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Himmelberger is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Shamrock has just dragged him back down to the mat. Shamrock looks up at the clock and then as Himmelberger takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Shamrock smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shamrock is looking to take a break and control but Himmelberger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Himmelberger is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Shamrock looks up at the clock and then as Himmelberger takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Shamrock smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shamrock lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Himmelberger takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Shamrock landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Himmelberger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shamrock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Shamrock is working to tighten is grip on Himmelberger's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Himmelberger has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Shamrock is really squeezing tight and eventually Himmelberger passes out! Shamrock breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
