Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jach Bresnar (ranked 4434 p4p, 4530 weight class) and Robby Keene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robby Keene!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bresnar darts in looking for a takedown but Keene gets double underhooks and turns Bresnar into the cage.
Keene is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bresnar pulls Keene in close to his closed guard and prevents Keene from doing any damage or advancing position.

Bresnar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Keene's guard.

and Bresnar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Keene's guard.

Keene has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bresnar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bresnar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Keene pinned against the cage. Keene gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Keene has Bresnar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bresnar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jach Bresnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robby Keene.

Bresnar is staying tight to Keene's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Keene gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bresnar has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Keene to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bresnar is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Keene pulls down on the head and he's put Bresnar to sleep! This one is all over!
