Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edgy Brah (ranked 3486 p4p, 3590 weight class) and Ellis Rowards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Edgy Brah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ellis Rowards! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rowards drives through with a takedown into Brah's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Rowards scoring with punches to the head and body. Rowards wants to pass the guard but Brah is keeping the position. Rowards trying to control the position from guard on top but Brah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brah throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Brah has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brah keeping moving, preventing Rowards from controlling successfully. Rowards wants to get up but he can't break Brah's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rowards stands up over Brah, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Brah escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rowards gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rowards really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brah keeping moving, preventing Rowards from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brah preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Brah looking for a sweep. Not yet Brah, not yet. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Brah has a closed guard, preventing Rowards from standing up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rowards scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rowards moves into full mount! Rowards throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Rowards wants to get back to his feet but Brah is holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brah is trying to stand. Rowards working away from the top, dropping strikes. Rowards lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Rowards throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Brah because Rowards loaded up on that one. Brah swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Rowards wants to control the pace but Brah is squirming around nicely. Brah gets back to half guard. Brah is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rowards is keen to just control but Brah is a slippery customer. Brah wants to get back to his feet. Brah manages to escape and get back to his feet! Brah lands a left and a right that send Rowards crashing to the mat, dazed. Brah thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rowards is rocked! Rowards bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Brah comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Rowards falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Rowards was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edgy Brah! Our winner, Edgy Brah, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
