Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blinko Felly (ranked 24320 p4p, 24307 weight class) and Trey Diesel (ranked 276 p4p, 268 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Blinko Felly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Diesel!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felly scores with the left hand. Diesel knows he should have avoided that one.
Diesel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Felly scores with a jab.
Felly scores with a hook.
Diesel looks for the body kick but Felly saw that one coming.
Diesel wants to clinch up but Felly keeps it at a distance.
Felly displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diesel.
Diesel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Diesel closes the distance and clinches.
Felly jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diesel walks away with a smile on his face. Felly gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Felly scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nice straight punches there by Felly. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Felly.

Diesel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Felly's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Felly is looking for a triangle but Diesel pushes his legs off easily.

Felly has his foot on Diesel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diesel works his way back into a safe position though.
Diesel wants to pass the guard but Felly is keeping the position.

Felly is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Diesel is aware though and is defending well.
Diesel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Felly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Felly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diesel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Felly can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Diesel controls the pace.

Diesel is working Felly over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Felly had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diesel defends it easily.

Felly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Felly is breathing heavily.

Diesel gets to his feet - Felly follows without any prompting.

Diesel feints and as Felly raises his hands in defense, Diesel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Diesel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Felly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Felly wants to stand and escape but Diesel is having none of it.

Felly looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Diesel postures up and lands a big shot to Felly's brow.
Diesel stands and throws Felly's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Diesel remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Felly tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Diesel has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Blinko Felly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Felly connects with a body shot that sends Diesel's belly button to the back.
It looks like Felly has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Diesel moves into range and clinches up with Felly.

Diesel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Felly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Diesel is looking to control Felly but Felly is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Diesel has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Felly's body.

Felly tries to break free.
Diesel really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Felly.
Diesel is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diesel lands a shot to the body.
Diesel biding his time, controlling Felly.
Felly is in bad spot here.
Felly is trying to get back to his feet but Diesel has full control of the position and if anything, Felly has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Diesel has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Felly tries to roll but Diesel sticks to his back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Trey Diesel will probably get the nod.

Diesel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Felly scores with a hook to the body. Diesel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Diesel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Felly defends it nicely.

Felly clobbers Diesel with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Diesel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Felly tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Diesel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Diesel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Felly manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Diesel works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Diesel wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Felly, who protects the arm well.
Diesel wants to control but Felly is keeping him busy.
Felly is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Felly tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Diesel tries to control but Felly wriggling away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diesel cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Felly is looking to improve his position but Diesel isn't that keen on the idea.

Diesel cracks Felly with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Felly from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Diesel is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Felly defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Diesel connects with a nice short shot to Felly's temple.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Diesel in particular looking to stall.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
