Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Damen Mayer (ranked 3096 p4p, 1132 weight class) and Klahan Metharom (ranked 149 p4p, 58 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Damen Mayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Klahan Metharom!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.

and Mayer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Metharom won't be happy with that.

Mayer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Metharom pushes Mayer away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mayer gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Metharom sneaks back into half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mayer is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Mayer pivots and extends the arm, Metharom falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Mayer! Well done that man!
