Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 41 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dag Daghammar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kaz McStafferson! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daghammar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A left and a right from Daghammar both land. Nice combination. McStafferson on the wrong end of a nice hook. McStafferson misses with an uppercut. Daghammar saw that one coming. Daghammar tries to counter with a takedown but McStafferson is quick to defend against it. McStafferson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Daghammar doesn't seem bothered though. McStafferson throws a one two combo.
McStafferson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Daghammar. Daghammar misses with a looping right. McStafferson misses with a few strikes there.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Daghammar's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Daghammar duly obliges. Daghammar had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daghammar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daghammar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Daghammar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. McStafferson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Daghammar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Daghammar postures up in McStafferson's guard and throws a big left but McStafferson blocks it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now McStafferson is on top in guard.
McStafferson prevents Daghammar from getting back to his feet. McStafferson advances position into side control! McStafferson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Daghammar's legs. McStafferson throws a strike aimed at the side of Daghammar's head but Daghammar avoids it well.

McStafferson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Daghammar is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Daghammar and McStafferson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kaz McStafferson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. McStafferson misses with a wild body shot. Daghammar lands an overhand right. Daghammar looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. McStafferson lands a head shot. Daghammar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. McStafferson misses with a straight right. Daghammar swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Daghammar counters with a nice double leg into side control. McStafferson won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! McStafferson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Daghammar's best efforts. Daghammar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Daghammar throwing shots but McStafferson is blocking nicely. McStafferson is staying active underneath Daghammar, who seems content to just control the action from this position. McStafferson wants to improve his position but Daghammar is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. McStafferson is still trying to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daghammar is looking to take a break and control but McStafferson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McStafferson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Daghammar pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daghammar trying to control the pace. McStafferson tries to get to full guard but Daghammar has control of the leg. Dag Daghammar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McStafferson regains full guard. Nicely done. McStafferson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daghammar manages to get himself to full guard.
McStafferson slips nicely into half guard. McStafferson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. McStafferson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Daghammar has worked his arm free - good work by Daghammar!
Daghammar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McStafferson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McStafferson is trying to get an arm triangle but Daghammar is defending well. McStafferson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Daghammar has escaped the position, nice work there. McStafferson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kaz McStafferson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. McStafferson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daghammar keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McStafferson taking a break here but Daghammar is having none of it and regains half guard. McStafferson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Daghammar tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. McStafferson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Kaz McStafferson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got McStafferson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
